    • We recommend tapping the holes first, then using drilling lubricant. It is easier to remove the deck plates and drill them on a drill press.]]>     The Kernel Keeper uses a simple, yet effective strategy to cushion the blow of corn ears on a deck plate through the use of soft rubber inserts, which are enshrouded in UHMW polymer rails. It then captures any loose kernels in between the gathering chain module and Kernel Keeper rails, which are then collected via gathering-chain-attached finger brushes! Save just one kernel (1/2 bushel) per acre for an ROI of over 150%!
