This package includes a set all the Kernel Keeper components necessary for a single row of your corn combine harvester. The items included in each kit are:

2 UHMW poly deck rails

Several dampeners for the underside of the poly deck rails (one for each recessed insert-point on the rails underside)

16 gathering chain finger brushes

deck guides for rail placement

Drill bit for deck plate

Necessary mounting hardware per row purchased

We recommend tapping the holes first, then using drilling lubricant. It is easier to remove the deck plates and drill them on a drill press.

The Kernel Keeper uses a simple, yet effective strategy to cushion the blow of corn ears on a deck plate through the use of soft rubber inserts, which are enshrouded in UHMW polymer rails. It then captures any loose kernels in between the gathering chain module and Kernel Keeper rails, which are then collected via gathering-chain-attached finger brushes! Save just one kernel (1/2 bushel) per acre for an ROI of over 150%!

The installation process is simple and straightforward, but if you have any questions please watch the FAQ below courtesy of May Wes Manufacturing reach out to info@davaus.com or 260-245-5006
